Curriculum aims

Progressive, ambitious curriculum which explicitly teaches the ‘sticky knowledge’ which we want children to be confident in by the end of the unit of work.
Reflects the statutory expectations of the National Curriculum.
Ensures opportunities for spaced retrieval are integrated to ensure that new learning is transferred into the children’s long term memory.
Expectations are demonstrated for ARE to ensure consistency across year group within the Trust.
